We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic medical team. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for critically ill patients
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions
- Use advanced medical equipment and technology to provide life-saving treatments and procedures
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatments, and provide emotional support
- Document patient care and progress in electronic medical records
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
- Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU or Intensive Care Nursing
- BSN degree preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
