We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Electrical Superintendent to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to oversee and manage all electrical aspects of our commercial and retail construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling crews, tracking progress, reviewing designs, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. If you have a passion for problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a knack for managing teams, we would like to hear from you. Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of electrical installations for commercial and retail construction projects.
2. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
3. Schedule and manage electrical crews, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project timelines.
4. Review electrical designs and plans, providing input and suggestions for improvement when necessary.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
6. Collaborate with other construction professionals to resolve any onsite issues or challenges.
7. Provide regular updates and progress reports to management and stakeholders.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
9. Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards, on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience leading commercial electrical projects.
2. Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating electrical crews.
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, National Electric Code, and regulations.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
This is a traveling role. Per diem and vehicle allowance will be provided.
