Position Summary:
The Superintendent plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of our commercial electrical projects. You will be responsible for on-site supervision, resource management, quality control, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, providing clear direction and support to meet project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, schedules, and specifications, making adjustments as necessary to address changes and challenges.
- Monitor and enforce safety and quality standards, adhering to all relevant codes and regulations.
- Maintain regular communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any issues.
- Proactively identify and resolve construction issues to keep projects on track.
- Document and report project progress, issues, and solutions.
- Manage project documentation and record-keeping for accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in related field preferred).
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in the commercial electrical construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment.
