Award winning A&E firm is looking for a Electrical Design Engineer in the Atlanta area.
W provide the platform of a dynamic, integrated architectural, engineering, and interior design firm. It's through our people that we differentiate ourselves, empowering our team members to take ownership of their work while providing resources to do great projects for our clients.
Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
Performs a variety of routine engineering assignments under the direction of a supervisor with increasing responsibility based on performance.
Consults with supervisor to screen assignments for unusual or difficult problems and selects appropriate methods and techniques to apply.
Receives close supervision on new aspects of assignment but has some freedom to exercise judgment in making engineering decisions.
Performs design work on REVIT.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, which qualifies for licensure in the state of practice, is required.
Certification as an Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) and PE tracked preferred plus four (4) or more years of related practical experience.
Experience with AutoCAD platforms with emphasis on Revit.
Good understanding of power system design.
Familiarity with lighting calculations and software.
Good understanding of grounding system design.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work within a team.
