Job Details
As the Payroll Director, your primary responsibilities will include :
Overseeing the processing of all payroll operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Implementing and maintaining the HRIS / payroll systems (UltiPro / UKG Pro preferred) and integrating third-party solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Providing strategic direction and leadership for the payroll function, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.
Managing the payroll team, providing direction, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
Resolving complex payroll issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Participating in special projects and initiatives related to payroll and HRIS systems.
The ideal candidate for the Payroll Director position will have the following qualifications :
A minimum of 7-10 years of payroll experience working with integrated systems.
Proven experience in payroll management, demonstrating a deep understanding of payroll regulations and best practices.
Extensive experience working with HRIS / payroll systems, preferably UltiPro / UKG Pro, and integrating third-party solutions.
Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage a team and drive performance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex payroll issues.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex payroll information to a variety of stakeholders.
A high degree of professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
Professional certification in payroll (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) is preferred.
