Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop engineering systems using CAD and Solidworks, ensuring all designs meet the required specifications and standards.
2. Interpret and analyze blueprints and schematics to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
3. Conduct comprehensive stress analysis and failure analysis to predict the reliability and durability of the designed systems.
4. Create and review test documents such as ATP, QTP, and QTR to ensure the quality and functionality of the designs.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify design improvements, resolve issues, and optimize performance.
6. Stay updated on the latest aerospace and military standards, implementing them in the design processes.
7. Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising on quality.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Design Engineer in the engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in CAD, Solidworks, and other relevant design software.
4. Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and aerospace manufacturing.
5. Familiarity with military and aerospace standards such as MIL-STD-810, DO-160.
6. Proven experience in blueprint and schematic reading.
7. Experience in creating and reviewing test documents such as ATP, QTP, and QTR.
8. Exceptional skills in stress analysis and failure analysis.
9. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
10. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
11. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
