Job Details
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Project Manager with a specialty in custom residential projects. This is a permanent, full-time position that provides the opportunity to work on a variety of unique and exciting projects. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our construction projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing custom residential construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Developing comprehensive project plans and coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to determine the specifications of the project.
3. Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
4. Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities and ensuring all legal requirements are met.
5. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
6. Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
7. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they are fully aligned with the project goals and deadlines.
8. Analyzing, managing, and mitigating risks, ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Construction Project Manager role should have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, particularly in custom residential projects.
2. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
3. Proficiency in construction project management software.
4. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
5. Exceptional leadership and time management skills.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
8. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
