We are seeking a diligent and skilled Permanent Construction Inspector to join our dynamic Engineering team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
The position involves inspecting a wide range of construction projects, including traffic construction and infrastructure inspection.
The role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of mathematical calculations, and a deep commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities :
1. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with construction plans and specifications.
3. Carry out infrastructure inspections, identifying and documenting any anomalies or potential risks.
4. Perform construction inspection tasks that include monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statutory requirements.
5. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure all aspects of the project adhere to the established standards.
6. Prepare and present detailed inspection reports, including recommendations for improvements or corrective actions.
7. Use mathematical calculations to determine the adequacy and safety of project components.
8. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance inspection efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection, specifically in traffic construction and infrastructure inspection.
2. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
3. Thorough understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Proficient in performing mathematical calculations related to construction projects.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to spot potential problems or deficiencies.
7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting strict deadlines.
9. Proficiency in using computer software and applications related to construction inspection.
10. Valid certification from a recognized professional body in the field of construction inspection is a plus.
