Are you an experienced Audit Manager with a passion for crunching numbers and helping businesses grow? We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Permanent Audit Manager (Hybrid) to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. This is a unique role that combines the traditional responsibilities of an Audit Manager with the flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing you to work from home and on-site as needed. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including non-profits, for-profit companies, and municipalities.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Audit Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of the audit process, from planning to execution and completion.
2. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their business operations, processes, and management systems.
3. Identifying and communicating audit findings to senior management and clients.
4. Providing recommendations for business and process improvements.
5. Participating in business development initiatives, including identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.
6. Ensuring compliance with all internal and external audit requirements.
7. Managing, training, and mentoring audit staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
8. Providing expert advice on employee benefits and other financial matters to clients.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Permanent Audit Manager role should have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Audit Manager in Public Accounting.
2. Proven experience with business development and client relationship management.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in auditing non-profits, for-profit companies, and municipalities.
4. Strong understanding of employee benefits, financial regulations, and audit principles.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial information.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
8. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A CPA or similar certification is highly desirable.
