Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in all aspects of project planning, execution, and control. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Controls, Bills of Materials, and Instrumentation, to ensure the successful completion of projects. This is a permanent position with growth opportunities within the organization.
Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing project status reports, and tracking project progress.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and change requests.
• Ensure project scope and requirements are clearly defined and communicated to all stakeholders.
• Manage project risks and issues, and escalate as necessary to the Project Manager.
• Assist in the development of project proposals, including cost estimates and resource requirements.
• Provide technical support to the project team, including troubleshooting issues and providing guidance on technical solutions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of project management processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must have one of the following Industries: water/wastewater, oil & gas, or Data Center
• 3 years of experience in project management.
• Experience with Controls, Bills of Materials, and Instrumentation.
• Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
• Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera, is a plus.
• PMP certification is a plus.
