Summary
Join our IT team as an Application Developer and play a key role in our mission to leverage technology for enhancing operational efficiency and driving business success. In this position, you will develop and maintain software applications that are critical to our business processes and digital transformation goals. Your contributions will directly impact the modernization of our operations, helping to streamline workflows and improve our overall service delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web and software applications to support business processes, focusing on functionality, user experience, and integration with existing systems.
• Work closely with the Systems Analyst to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure applications are integrated with existing IT systems and business processes.
• Assist in creating and maintaining analytics solutions, including reports and dashboards using SSRS and PowerBI, to support data-driven decision-making across the business.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing software applications, including troubleshooting and implementing updates as needed.
• Assist in the development of internal tools and scripts to automate routine tasks, contributing to operational efficiency.
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure the reliability and performance of applications, adhering to best practices in security and data protection.
• Participate in the review and testing of applications, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and software development practices, suggesting ways to leverage these for business benefit.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C# and .NET framework, with experience in web application development and maintenance.
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and an understanding of web application architecture.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts for application development, with the ability to perform simple queries and understand data relationships
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with strong communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Problem-solving skills and the capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time effectively.

Desired Skills:

• Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, or similar platforms.
• Interest in learning about and working with reporting and analytics tools such as PowerBI and SSRS.
• Agile development methodology experience, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, with a willingness to share knowledge and collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
• A willingness to learn new technologies and to adapt to changing project requirements
