We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced team. This is a permanent role that offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our organization. The Accounting Manager will handle the daily accounting and finance operations, ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and effectively.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Provide recommendations.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Meet financial accounting objectives.
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct regular ledger activities.
• Review and analyze the organization's financial reports and identify opportunities for improved financial performance.
• Work closely with team members to assist with the budget process and provide relevant advice and guidance to all staff.
• Implement and adhere to internal controls while also checking for compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven knowledge and experience in financial accounting, financial analysis, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise.
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
