Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process and finished goods, and product formulations using a range of analytical techniques.
- Ensure that all testing is performed in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, including pH meters, Karl Fischer titrators, Autotitrators, Viscometers, FTIRs, and spectrophotometers.
- Document all testing results and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in SAP.
- Participate in the development and validation of new analytical methods.
- Investigate and troubleshoot any quality control issues, and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of our processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a Quality Control role in a scientific industry.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with a range of analytical techniques, including pH, Karl Fischer, Autotitrator, Viscometer, FTIR, and spectrophotometer.
- Experience with SAP and other laboratory information management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work on a permanent 3rd shift schedule.
