**About the role:**

June Homes is looking for a **General Manager** who will be responsible to grow and develop a portfolio of rental properties which meets and exceeds growth targets for the Chicago territory. This person will need to achieve sales targets, maintain high productivity levels, and execute company initiatives. As the General Manager of our Chicago territory, this individual will ensure goals and targets are met through exhibiting proficiency in sales processes, negotiation, and working closely with other departments and teams to continuously improve the June Homes offering. This role reports directly to the National Sales Director. This is a remote position but is required to reside in the Chicagoland area and should expect travel throughout the city to visit prospective inventory.

**What youll do:**

* Meet expansion goals in number of new locations launched

* Establish and maintain strong relationships with property owners, property managements and brokerage communities.

* Negotiate contracts and extensions for June properties.

* Perform inspections of newly launched homes in the local market.

* Maintain satisfactory occupancy rate

* Own city P&L and unit economics, optimize portfolio performance

* Work closely with company HQ 1 and HQ 2 and various departments sales, business development, success, pricing and BI, etc.

**What you need to be successful:**

* Bachelor's Degree required

* Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Business Development

* Broker's License preferred but not required

* Work closely with company HQ 1 and HQ 2 and various departments including sales, business development, success, pricing and BI, etc.

* Entrepreneurial mindset

* Reliable, accountable and responsive

* High emotional intelligence and refined sales skills

* Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

* Resilient under stress and pressure

* Available to be contacted after hours for emergency situations

* Natural leadership skills and experience in managing people

* Experience in residential real estate (business development, property management, brokerage)

* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

* A comprehensive understanding of how minute details of individual assets can affect financial performance.

* Positive, cooperative attitude. You have the ability to work with multiple teams simultaneously, both internal and external.

* Proficiency with tech solutions such as CoStar, Trello, GSuite, Front, Slack & more.

* Experience in Real Estate
