Purchasing Assistant (PCB)

$17.50 per hour to start plus full benefits

As Inventory Control and Purchasing Assistant, you will:

• Join a distributor of printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Support inventory control and purchasing operations
• Monitor inventory supply levels
• Identify replenishment points
• Communicate with suppliers by phone and email
• Obtain price quotes
• Identify suppliers with the best rates
• Negotiate purchasing terms and prices
• Create and submit purchase orders
• Monitor and track open purchase orders
• Perform quality control functions on completed purchases
• Collaborate with internal teams
• Run routine and special reports
• Handle special projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

• Purchasing experience
• Negotiation skills
• A High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pluses:

• Related experience with Electronics and/or PCBs

This is a contact assignment with a STRONG POSSIBILITY of converting to a full time, direct-hire job in approximately 3 months.

Partial benefits will be available from JobGiraffe throughout the duration of your contract assignment.

If hired on directly, you will receive a benefits package that includes Medical Insurance, a 401(k) with Match and PTO.
