We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Route Driver to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to safety.

As a Permanent Route Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our products.

Responsibilities :

1. Safely operate a delivery vehicle on assigned routes to transport goods to our clients in a timely manner.

2. Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations.

3. Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring that they are properly secured to prevent damage.

4. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, routes, and any issues or delays.

5. Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding any route changes, delays, or other issues that may arise.

6. Manage inventory and ensure that all deliveries are accurate and complete.

7. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from clients in a professional and courteous manner.

8. Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.

Qualifications :

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in route driving or a similar role.

3. Proven experience in inventory management.

4. Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.

5. Strong knowledge of local routes and the ability to use GPS devices.

6. Excellent physical condition and the ability to lift heavy items.

7. Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

8. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

10. Commitment to safety and compliance with all driving regulations.
