You will be responsible for handling cases from intake through trial, making this a truly dynamic and engaging position.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Personal Injury Paralegal, you will be entrusted with a vast array of responsibilities that are crucial to our firm's success. These include :

1. Managing a substantial caseload of personal injury cases, including those involving medical malpractice.

2. Conducting the intake process for new clients, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded and processed.

3. Assisting attorneys with the preparation of legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.

4. Coordinating and attending client meetings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

5. Conducting legal research and investigations related to personal injury cases.

6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of NJ Case law and other relevant legislation.

7. Collaborating with attorneys, clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and court personnel to ensure the smooth progression of cases.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in the field of personal injury law.

2. Proficiency in managing a substantial caseload, with a focus on personal injury and medical malpractice cases.

3. Familiarity with the intake process and the ability to manage cases from intake through trial.

4. In-depth knowledge of NJ Case law, especially as it pertains to personal injury and medical malpractice.

5. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

7. A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office suite.

9. A paralegal certificate or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
