Are you a seasoned Maintenance Technician with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for machinery? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our team for the 3rd shift in our bustling Manufacturing industry.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery, thus contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for :

1. Performing regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.

2. Diagnosing and repairing any mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults in machinery and equipment.

3. Utilizing CMMS to track and document all maintenance work and repairs.

4. Implementing and following LOTO procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others while performing maintenance tasks.

5. Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to understand machinery and equipment layouts.

6. Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting VFDs and electrical controls.

7. Participating in the development of preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.

8. Collaborating with other team members and departments to improve processes and resolve any technical issues.

Qualifications :

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry.

2. Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and mechanical maintenance.

3. Proficiency in using CMMS for tracking maintenance work.

4. In-depth knowledge of LOTO procedures and their implementation.

5. Experience with VFDs and electrical controls.

6. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

9. A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

10. A relevant certification or diploma would be an added advantage.
