The Position
As a Senior Accountant, you will spearhead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. You will meticulously reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and prepare comprehensive financial reports for various stakeholders. Analyzing operating expenses and profit and loss fluctuations will be integral to your role, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining lease compliance, improving accounting systems, and mentoring junior team members to foster professional growth within the organization.
Responsibilities...

• Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks
• Maintain ownership and accountability of the month-end close process for timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders
• Complete monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
• Create standalone and consolidated financial reports for various stakeholders, including US Management, lenders, and insurance agencies

• CPA
• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience in public accounting or a high growth startup
