JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a**Project Manager**inMadison, AL. The**Project Manager**is responsible for working with other team members to ensure consistent organization necessary to ensure project success.This position is responsible for revenues, costs, planning, and execution of a portion of a large-budget production program.Candidate will coordinate all scheduling and implement project goals with team members as well as customers. Will maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, expenditures and track project accomplishments.

Responsibilities of the**PROJECT MANAGER**includes:

  • Implementation and improvement of the project management processes according to company standards, industry standards, and personal ingenuity
  • Accountable for cost, schedule, and quality of the project
  • Regular reporting to customer and internal management at the executive levels
  • Steering of program risk management
  • Responsible for Continuous Improvement within the program
  • Implementation of mission-specific customer needs and improvements
  • Responsible for Customer relationship management and long-term trust
  • Maintain and cultivate a close business relationship with the functional leadership across the company
  • Contributes to negotiations regarding new statements of work

**Competencies/Skills:

**

  • 1-3 years’ experience in project management
  • 3 years’ experience in the aerospace/space industry
  • Experience managing a budget and/or profit/loss responsibility PMP certification strongly preferred. PMP certification is a bonus
  • Self-starter, strong bias for action
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office
  • Project Coordination
  • Project Implementation
  • Project Management
  • Project Plans

**Required Education and Experience:

**

  • High School Graduation, or its equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment.

**Preferred Education and Experience

**

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment
