Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Production Group Lead in Huntsville, AL . Our client is a scrap / recycling facility responsible for processing scrap metals.

The Production Group Lead is responsible supervise, coordinate, instruct, and manage groups in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities of a Production Group Lead includes :

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of production workers in daily operations
• Utilize forklifts to move materials and products throughout the facility
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Coordinate and schedule production activities to meet deadlines
• Utilize project management techniques to oversee various projects
• Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality and reduce defects
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Must be forklift licensed and have experience operating forklifts
• High School diploma or GED required
• Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies
• Current CDL license
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job
• Strong leadership and people management skills
