```Duties```
As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels and ensuring efficient operations within the distribution center. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with various teams to develop demand planning strategies
- Utilizing AS400 system to track and manage inventory
- Implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy
- Overseeing distribution center inventory levels and replenishment processes
- Conducting data mining and analysis to optimize inventory levels
- Performing financial analysis related to inventory management
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Selling excess or slow-moving inventory to minimize losses
- Coordinating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers for efficient inventory movement
- Managing warehouse organization and layout for streamlined operations
```Qualifications```
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in demand planning and inventory coordination
- Proficiency in AS400 system or similar inventory management software
