Please note that this is a contract role providing services to the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies through external staffing partners of Kelly OCG. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.

Summary:

This Bioassay Scientist perform assay-based bench testing in a cGMP environment. This position requires testing to be completed in compliance with all applicable procedures, standards and GMP regulations as well as all local, state, federal and international regulations and guidelines (FDA, EPA, DEA, OSHA, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Experience with a minimum of two of the following techniques:
• ELISA, FRET, qPCR, cell culture and aseptic technique, cell-based potency assays, flow cytometry or plate-based biochemical assays (impurity, HCP).
• Perform experiments and data review according to SOPs and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related subject area, with a minimum of 2 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required, or a Master's degree with 1 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills are required.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to work in a cross-functional customer-focused environment is required.
• Experience working in a cGMP environment is required.
• Experience with electronic laboratory notebook is required
• Excellence in bioassay trouble shooting is required.
• Ability to work with limited guidance to plan, execute, and follow through with studies is preferred.
