REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Chemist degree required

· Recent college graduates with a Chemist degree are welcome to apply

· Previous research work experience is preferred, can be through school or internships

· Must work onsite Mon to Fri

Location: Monroeville, PA

Duration: 6-12 Months Contract

Hourly Pay: $22.00/hr

Description:

· Develop scalable processes for OLED emitters that are reproducible and cost effective through a thorough scientific approach.
Synthesize novel organic compounds following reactions paths provided by senior chemists.
Help design experiments and safely execute experiments independently.
Contribute to the interpretation of analytical results and propose process changes as necessary.
Provide support for scale up of new products by technicians in both a kilo lab setting.
Contributes to reports and regular updates at appropriate project intervals while maintaining detailed laboratory records.
Works in a safe manner. Reads, understands and follows all pertinent SOPs
