Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Johnson & Johnson through external staffing partners of Kelly OCG. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be an employee of Johnson & Johnson

Summary:

This Data Analyst role is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and deployment of data-driven analytics solutions, that will drive and accelerate insight generation and actionable insights. The analyst will prepare analytical files and manage datasets, write, and execute programs using claims data and/or electronic medical records and perform quality checks. The successful candidate will establish and maintain statistical/database programming standards of excellence for projects and products that are intended for insight generation, and internal /external communication. This role will work collaboratively in the Real-World Analytics team to support multiple relevant digital products for cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Translating the analytics protocols into standardized high-quality programming codes.
  • Carry out the analyses plan in the approved protocol in a timely manner to meet project timelines.
  • Providing planned and on-demand programming/analytics supports to the Market Access Analytics team researchers and scientists.
  • Ensuring all Real-World Analytics projects are conducted in compliance with internal/external policies, and procurement requirements are satisfied.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields (economics, physics, statistics, engineering, data sciences, mathematics, etc.) is required; post-graduate training is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of data-related experience is required.
  • Self-motivation, self-initiation, attention to details, and ability to meet deadlines are required.
  • Proficiency with SQL is required; Proficiency with other common scripting languages (e.g. Python, R.) is highly preferred.
  • Experiences in data collection and data processing are highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other analytical tools (Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminologies (e.g., ICD, NDC, SNOMED, MedDRA, LOINC, CPT) is preferred.
  • Algorithm-level understanding of popular analytic models is preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • This position may require up to 20% travel.
