This hands-on leadership position is responsible for the smooth operation of the company’s two locations, in RI and Mass, making sure that our employees have the resources to do their jobs, and are motivated to work and perform their best. The Operations manager will contribute to the creation of a dynamic and effective organization and must be comfortable working in fast-paced environment in a company committed to customer satisfaction
- Manage daily operations including scheduling and distribution of work orders
- Ensure jobs are completed for the week for the two locations.
- Keep employees motivated and ensure a positive, safe, and stable work environment.
- Maintain the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction possible
- Responds and resolves employee and customer issues.
- Must have good communication skills to communicate clearly with customers, employees, and management
- 2 or more years of management experience preferrable in the service industry
- Familiar with computers and understanding of MS Office.
- Maintenance of equipment and company vehicles.
- Ensure the efficiency of work teams and adjust as needed.
- Experience in hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Willingness to engage in hands-on work when short staffed or behind schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Bilingual Spanish is desired
- Some sales experience would be helpful to be able to write estimates and talk with potential customers.
- Familiar with insurance issues, such as General Liability and Worker’s Compensation.
- Experience in customer proposals and estimates.
- Experience with ladders and boom lifts.
