Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and their beloved pets. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic veterinary clinic environment with a sign-on bonus up to $1,000.00. Must have 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome clients with their pets to the clinic in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Check-in/out clients for appointments and discharge.
• Answers telephone calls and return e-mails.
• Process payment transactions.
• Prepare surgical consent forms
• Schedule appointments using our designated software
• Ensure a pleasant respectful and productive relationship with Veterinarian and all team members.
• Demonstrate strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Work patiently with distressed, frustrated or disgruntled clients.
• Maintains appearance of reception area including availability of brochures and other supplies.
• Ensure updated registration forms are on file and informs clients of expected wait time.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years in an office setting in customer service and/or reception capacity.
• Professional animal care experience is strongly preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized. Able to multitask in a fast paced setting.
• Strong computer experience.
• Comfortable interacting with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes.
• Passionate about animal welfare. Treats all animals with compassion and kindness
• Follow rotating work schedule.
• Reliable and dependable. Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
• Strong work ethic. Set high standards for self and others

Education

• Associate degree preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
