JLL is Hiring a HR Project/Change Manager Near Chicago, IL
JLL is hiring an HR Project Manager to join our HR Strategy & Planning team. The objective of the HR Project Manager is to manage multiple projects, usually within the context of a strategic program linked to HR & JLL business strategy. This role will be responsible for developing detailed project plans that assign clear and effective responsibilities to project teams and their stakeholders. They will communicate with key stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are being met whilst identifying and recommending adjustments accordingly. This role will also play an important role in developing change management plans for projects to ensure successful adoption. The ideal candidate will be able to apply good operational knowledge and possess a good understanding of project & change management principles to identify the risks and returns of programs and projects. You will be logical, organized and principled as well as have excellent communication skills to facilitate dialogue and keep stakeholders on task and on track. What this job involves: Develop and maintain end-to-end project plans whilst taking input from appropriate stakeholders Lead project change management efforts & support transition to BAU at the conclusion of projects Proactively review key project milestones and deliverables adjusting the project plan as needed Schedule and conduct project status meetings with key stakeholders (agenda management, note taking/action item documentation, and recaps/action item driving) Manage project collateral Assign responsibilities to project team as required and follow up with key stakeholders on tasks to ensure project deadlines and objectives are achieved Oversee the development of project status reports, providing insight into project accomplishments, risks, issues, and remediation tactics on a regular basis Demonstrate and consult on PM best practice for HR Provide feedback to enable continuous improvement of project execution practices & resources Sound like you? To apply you need to be: Post secondary degree in Business, Commerce, or Human Resources Background in Human Resources with the expertise to create innovative solutions Experience in a global matrix organization is considered an asset to expertly partner across a large, globally aligned matrixed organization Demonstrated experience in driving projects from conception to implementation Strong business acumen & desire to learn about JLL's business Ability to multi-task and handle various projects simultaneously to drive timely results Exceptional time management and attention to detail with relentless commitment to follow-through Ability to quickly organize & synthesize large amounts of information to drive understanding of/use by project teams Able to develop a project plan and translate it into actionable tangible steps Confident and flexible leader who is able identify and address issues as they arise Proven track record of completing projects to specifications while dealing with challenges such as cross-team dependencies, changing schedules and constantly evolving requirements Identifies deviations from project goals and recommends adjustments required to stay on course Self-starter, problem solver, that possesses a high degree of judgment and capability of working collaboratively on often highly ambiguous matters in fast paced environments Agile and empathetic individual who can manage numerous initiatives and stakeholders in the face of complex problems Strong ability to present and translate information in a clear and effective manner Ability to adjust styles of communicating to varying situations to effectively lead high-performance teams by achieving results through others A passion to work with people across a variety of backgrounds to drive an inclusive work environment JLL Is an Equal Opportunity Employer JLL is committed to developing and maintaining a diverse workforce.
