JLGOV LLC is Hiring a Remote System Administrator
Are you ready to play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of critical command assets within the defense sector? We're seeking a highly skilled System Administration Specialist to join our team.
Places of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at the following locations:
Location 1: Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Pacific, 2841 Rendova Road, San Diego, CA 92155
Location 2: Various shore-based command buildings, Naval Base San Diego, 3455 Senn Street, San Diego, CA 92136
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and administer all Force shore-based equipment, including IT/LAN assets and DLA-owned printers.
- Ensure compliance with stringent cyber security and classification requirements.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for command asset functions.
- Provide technical assistance and support for asset inventory and tracking.
- Research costs and ordering policies to influence budget submissions.
- Coordinate and submit Move, Add, and Change (MAC) requests.
- Maintain inventory and conduct scheduled inventories of computer assets and peripherals.
- Manage database for tracking System Access and Authorization Request (SAAR) forms.
- Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes for DoD Information Technology.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Must have a Minimum 2 years of related experience.
- Must have Active or interim DoD Secret Clearance.
- Must CompTia Security certification.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Ability to perform routine system maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
- Physical capability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. and perform other physical tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in written and oral English communication.
