Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: McConnellsburg, PA

Shifts Available:

Hours: Mon - Fri, 11pm - 7am; with overtime as necessary

Salary: $24 - $27.85 per hour (includes $1.75 shift differential)

  • - 4 open positions for 2nd shift- 5 8's ; Monday to Friday - 3pm-11pm

    • 3 open positions for 3rd

      shift- 5 8’s – Monday to Friday - 11pm-7am

    • 1 Weekend (1st

      Shift)- Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 5am-5pm

    • 2 Weekend (2nd

      Shift)- Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 5pm-5am

**JOB SUMMARY

**

The Maintenance Technician will support the paint process systems by conducting preventative maintenance, diagnostic/repair, troubleshooting of issues related to the industrial coatings process, and maintaining records concerning chemical usage and hazardous materials related to the paint process.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

**

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing titration of washer bath and adjust chemical concentrations as needed
  • Recording viscosity and temperature of paint on a daily basis and making adjustments as needed to stay within specifications
  • Maintaining accurate records on solvent, paint and chemical usage
  • Troubleshooting finish paint defects and performing appropriate corrective action
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting paint proportioners and repairing as needed
  • Cleaning and repairing/rebuilding paint equipment as needed
  • Supporting special paint run schedule through flushing/loading of all special color lines in a timely manner
  • Performing PM's on equipment
  • Maintaining hazardous waste stream and accumulation areas within the department
  • Maintaining proper calibration of all tools/gauges
  • Other duties as assigned

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

**

  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, ladder diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Ability to work from various heights including, but not limited to: ladders or AWPs (Aerial Work Platforms)

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

**

  • 1 years of previous experience in an industrial environment setting
  • Associates Degree or equivalent (ie. Technical school certification) in the field of advanced electrical/electronics or other related field
  • Computer literacy

  • PLC Troubleshooting Skills
  • Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
  • PLC Programming Experience
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
