Skills and Experience:

The Yard Foreman position will be responsible for oversight of the yard at our Port Bienville location. This employee will be responsible for container cleaning, performing housekeeping at the location, along with coordinating with management for the operation within the facility.

Responsibilities:

· Container Cleaning

· Perform and complete Daily, Bi-Weekly, Monthly checklist.

· Inspect and report any equipment issues on chassis.

· Housekeeping on site includes but not limited to – weed eat, mow, pick up trash, sweep building, clean supplies like tractor, pressure washer, dock, etc.

· Coordinate with dispatch for efficient trucking turn around on yard.

· Track fuel, grease, cleaner and other inventory onsite to maintain necessary stock.

· Light maintenance, including but not limited to – repair/replace chassis light issues, greasing equipment, assisting maintenance team when onsite, etc.

Requirements:

· Strong problem-solving skills, ability to perform under high stress.

· Demonstrate success and ability to prioritize.

· Knowledge or ability to learn compliance of vehicle and equipment inspections, renewals, etc.

· Highly organized, ability to utilize time wisely, and communicate effectively.

· Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm

· Overtime is required.

Working Conditions:

• Must be physically able to repetitively lift, carry at least 50 LBS, and be mobile around equipment when required.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
• Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Location : Port Bienville - Bay St. Louis, MS.
