JJWelch Construction is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Salem, MA

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A PROJECT MANAGER FOR A GENERAL CONTRACTOR.

If you want to be part of a growing company made up of passionate, team-oriented individuals who love what they do and have fun doing it, JJWelch is the place for you. We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented project manager to join our team. Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of construction experience in renovation and ground-up projects. The markets we serve include restaurants, commercial, retail, institutional and multi-use. Our projects range from $100K – $5M.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attend client meetings
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Daily communication with project superintendent and field staff
  • Subcontractor bid review, negotiation and award
  • Manage all costs and billables for your projects
  • Develop and monitor schedules to ensure deadlines are met
  • Negotiate, prepare and track change orders

  • Strong problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven leadership and management qualities
  • Ability to work and interact in a team environment
  • A well thought out approach to problem solving
  • Proficiency in Procore, M.S. Project, Excel, and Outlook
