We are seeking an experienced restaurant worker with strong leadership qualities, interpersonal skills and a knack for problem solving to join our staff. We are an AYCE sushi restaurant just east of the Strip, serving locals and tourists alike.
This position would fill the role of lead server for the staff with the potential to grow into an assistant manager position if the fit is right. The lead server will head the server staff and be responsible for ensuring guests enjoy their experience from the moment they enter to the moment they leave, and everything in between. The lead server will be responsible for some ordering for the restaurant and for representing the best interests of the servers and the restaurant. The lead server will be responsible for closing the register, closing the register and being considered a person in charge.
The ideal candidate will lead the server staff by example through good habits, excellent customer service, a desire to learn and grow, flexibility and restaurant knowledge. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in restaurants, preferably in sushi, all-you-can-eat, izakaya, omakase, Korean barbecue or other comparable dining scenes. Bilingual candidates are a big plus.
Alcohol management, SNHD food handlers card are required. Certified Food Protection Safety Manager card is strongly preferred.
