Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain system implementation and policy development
• Drive Supply Chain innovation
• Maintain strategic sourcing relationships and development of teaming agreements and partnerships in support of the CUBE structure
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Lead and Support Cost reduction strategies
• Optimize terms and conditions for increased performance, profitability, and cash flow
• Work cross-functionally with finance, contracts, and business development on available government incentives for certain subcontractors and suppliers
• Work with legal to draft supplier dispute resolution documents
• Support tactical purchasing as needed
• Drive Compliance culture into the business.
• Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers.
• Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company.
• Obtaining quotes from different suppliers.
• Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation.
• Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
• Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.
• Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in administration, logistics, supply chain or related field.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR
• CPSR Experience a plus
• Proven experience in sourcing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Sound time-management and organizational skills.

Physical, Environmental and Sensory Requirements

• Work environment is a typical office setting.
• Physical demands include intermittent sitting, standing, and walking, and occasional bending reaching and lifting.
• Limited exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc. but generally not to the point of being disagreeable.
• May require minimal travel
