POSITION SUMMARY: The bartender is responsible for making, mixing, pouring and/or creating alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to the guests of the bar and restaurant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions to guests as necessary
• Take guest drink (and sometimes food) orders from guests seated at the bar or from servers
• Input orders into the POS system
• Prepare guests drinks as ordered
• Slice fruit for garnishing drinks
• Clean bar and arrange glasses for an attractive bar display
• Prepare bill and accept payment or refer guest to the appropriate cashier
• Clear or reset bar after each guest leaves
• Thank guests and kindly invite them back for a future drinking/dining experience

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
• Possess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
• Valid certification for serving alcohol

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Must be at least (21) years of age
• Minimum of (2) years experience

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of (8) hours a week.
• Ability to stand/walk for (8) hours per day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to (50) lbs.
• Will frequently (to work double shift, lunch and Dinner).
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
