Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets customers and take orders-operates cash register-collects payment from customers and makes changes.
• Makes fast, accurate, and consistent sandwiches, complying with all portion sizes, recipes, and all systems and procedures.
• Trains new employees utilizing Fast Track and accompanying paperwork.
• Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness.
• Ensure that every customer receives world-class customer service.
• Completes daily food preparation (opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, bread production)
• Completes closing procedures.
• Completes daily and weekly paperwork, including completing systems and procedures punch lists with 100% accuracy and integrity.
• Receives and stores product.
• Audits previous shift's systems and procedures for 100% integrity and completeness.
• Completes preventative maintenance and upkeep on the store's equipment and supplies.
• Maintains the restaurant's cleanliness and sanitization, including all tables, floors, windows, beverage stations, restrooms, etc.
• Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets
• Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with the Jimmy John's Dress code.
• Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments with a sense urgency in all tasks.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.
• Position requires bending, reaching, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, standing and moving about the unit the entire workday

Special Requirements:

• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as business dictates within the confines of the law.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle and resolve customer issues.
• Ability to handle and resolve employee issues.
• Ability to use a personal computer and various software packages (Word/Excel).
• Ability to handle stress and high-volume operations.
