JobDescription
JillFrisch & Freeze MiniMart is looking for areliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team on afulltime basis. As a Truck Driver you will be responsible forsafely and efficiently transporting goods from our distributioncenter to our various storelocations.
KeyResponsibilities :
Operatecompanyowned trucks to transport goods from the distribution centerto store locations
Follow all traffic laws andsafety regulations while driving
Load and unloadgoods onto the truck using proper equipment andtechniques
Plan routes and ensure timelydelivery of goods
Keep accurate records ofdeliveries including time of departure and arrival mileage and anyissues encountered
Conduct pretrip and posttripinspections of the truck and report any maintenance or repairissues
Communicate with dispatch and storemanagers to coordinate delivery schedules
Followall company policies and procedures including proper handling andstorage of goods
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Validcommercial drivers license (CDL)
Minimum of 2years of experience as a truck driver
Cleandriving record with no traffic violations
Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Excellenttime management and organizational skills
Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills
Abilityto work independently and as part of a team
