Gauthier Jewelry, a high end, established jewelry store that has been in the valley for over 35 years, is seeking talented professionals to join us at our beautiful gallery in Scottsdale. Gauthier Jewelry sells only pieces of “wearable art” that are designed and hand created, on site, by Scott Gauthier.

Under the leadership and guidance of Scott Gauthier, Design Consultants are responsible for providing outstanding customer service, establishing and developing strong customer relationships, building individual sales volume and establishing new accounts with potential clients that come into our gallery. They will demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial approach to growing the customer base & client purchasing potential, and partner effectively with other team members. We are looking for those individuals who exhibit a certain persuasive, charming, and confident approach in a sales setting- those of you who possess this know what we are referring to!

Gauthier Design Consultants must be professional and knowledgeable. You will be trained to sell Gauthier pieces in a method proven to be successful in this industry. The individual we seek must be trainable, and must be constantly striving for improvement and growth in their position. Hard work, practice and ongoing learning will be the methods that will aid you in closing sales and achieving financial success.

Design Consultants need to be outgoing and optimistic. They must seek to build long term relationships with their buyers. We expect that they will provide the highest level of customer service, while simultaneously providing an entertaining and unique experience for our clients. Exceptional service is expected, recognized and celebrated.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

* Demonstrate a sophisticated, high energy, driven, entrepreneurial personality with the ability to consistently make sales
* Ability to work well in both team and individual environments that require focused attention on details, multi-tasking, and self-improvement with minimal supervision

* Gemstone and diamond knowledge valued
* A strong ability to express beauty in both verbal and written skills
* Able to work a flexible schedule that will include weekdays, weekends, etc. Jewelry by Gauthier does recognize a work/life balance when creating its schedules, and strives to give you a schedule that will allow you to be successful both professionally and personally, while still fulfilling the needs of a retail based business
* Candidates must be agile, fashion conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment

* Previous experience in the luxury market preferred/ GIA training valued
* Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in custom jewelry
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
* College/university degree preferred
* Local candidates only—Must have authorization to work in the United States, and specifically in Arizona

Pay: $42,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
