Seafood Clerk

Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing seafood products
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering recommendations
- Receive, inspect, and store seafood deliveries
- Ensure proper handling and storage of seafood to maintain freshness and quality
- Prepare seafood products for display, including cutting, packaging, and labeling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the seafood department
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the safety of customers and staff
- Collaborate with other team members to meet department goals and objectives

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Basic knife skills for cutting and preparing seafood products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
