Job Title: Barista
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines
- Prepare and package food items, such as pastries and sandwiches
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Skills:
- Experience in the food industry or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation
- Ability to handle food preparation tasks, including baking and cooking
- Strong attention to detail for accurate order taking and packaging
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including knives, ovens, and grills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
