Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and food items to our customers. Your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will ensure that each customer has a positive experience at our establishment.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos, according to established recipes
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, such as grinders and espresso machines
- Prepare and serve food items, such as pastries and sandwiches
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee beans is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating change
- Excellent sales skills to upsell products and promote specials
