Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Revenue Accounting to join the Jetta Operating Accounting team. This position will report to the Revenue Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record revenue for non-operated oil and gas wells
• Record revenue for some company operated wells
• Monitor payout and gas balancing positions for non-operated properties
• Handle all owner relations inquiries and phone calls
• Support land department with preparation of ad-hoc reports and analysis of data
• Submit monthly reports to the Office of Natural Resources
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
• Work with land to monitor and analyze revenue in suspense
• Assist other areas of accounting with special projects as needed

Required Skills:

• Ability to work tactfully and effectively with team members in all departments
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Educational & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting 
• 1-2 years public accounting experience, or oil and gas industry experience preferred
• Experience with Excalibur software is a plus
