TABC and Food Handlers permit cards required
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in the respective location)
- Food handling certification may be required depending on local regulations

- Hospitality: Ability to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers
- Food service: Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to assist with food orders if needed
