We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our rapidly growing software company. As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial operations and accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing robust internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our company's exponential growth.
What you will be doing:

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain accurate financial records in alignment with industry specific practices.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, providing timely and accurate financial reporting to management and investors.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, SAAS-specific revenue recognition standards, and investor reporting requirements.
• Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations for cost control measures to support our company's rapid growth trajectory.
• Prepare forecasts and projections to support strategic decision-making, providing key financial insights to senior management and contributing to business planning and scaling initiatives.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue optimization strategies, aligning financial objectives with our company's growth goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to provide financial guidance and support as we scale our operations.
• Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and teamwork to meet the evolving needs of our growing organization.
• Serve as a key point of contact for external accountants, investors, and financial partners, ensuring successful completion of audits, investor reporting, and compliance requirements specific to the industry.
• Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and SAAS-specific financial best practices, driving continuous improvement and contributing to our competitive advantage.

What experience we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, CPA Certification preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounting
• In depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and financial analysis
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to work with internal team and external clients
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to communicate financial data to stakeholders
• Proficient with MS Office
• Knowledge of ERP system and QuickBooks
