Job Title: Remote Admissions Representative

The Remote Admissions Representative is responsible for communicating with prospective students interested in admission to Jersey College. Responsibilities include the successful recruitment students through phone calls, SMS texts, and emails. This position is remote and requires the ability to systematically follow up with prospective students including high volume of calls, SMS, and emails. The Remote Admissions Representative must be able to provide prospective students with detailed information on programs, including admission, promotion and graduation requirements.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Follow up with new daily inquiries
  • Establish contact with prospective students through high volume of calls, SMS, and email
  • Recruit qualified candidates to move forward with admission process
  • Ensure compliance with enrollment Processes and documentation
  • Meet institutional goals for enrollment of nursing students

Job Responsibilities

  • Recruit qualified candidates to move forward in the admissions processing, including:
  • Following up with new and prior student inquiries
  • Utilize customer relation management platform to prioritize contact efforts
  • Assist in the coordination of student entrance exams and on-campus tour visits
  • Document communication effort and outcomes of prospective students
  • Create and monitor calendared events to follow up with prospective students
  • Providing honest and precise information to prospective students regarding campus programs, curriculum, schools rules, policies, and procedures
  • Contributing to the department's ideas for marketing, promotions, or advertisements
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • One (1) year of related experience and a High School diploma/GED
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service, listening, and teamwork skills
