Jerome Home is a 120 bed LongTerm Care Facility in New Britain, CT. Established under the will executed byAugustus Jerome, Jerome Home is a 5 star, privately-owned, not-for-profitorganization. We are a progressive, nursing community with a highly competentand caring staff. Established in 1932, our multi levels include; 26 units onRCH, 1 – 32 & 1 -30 bed neighborhoods on SNF, and 1 – 32 bed SubAcute. Also on our campus is Arbor Rose, a 82 apartment Assisted LivingFacility.

We are expanding our Nursing Supervisor position. This will improve response and communication to theneighborhoods to ensure the care and safety of our residents and staff. We are looking to fill a 24 hour position 11pm-7am

The RN Nursing Supervisor workswith an excellent team of Charge Nurses and CNA’s. All Charge Nurses are IVcertified. Our Charge Nurse staff consists of 1 nurse on the SNF's and 2 nurseson the Sub Acute neighborhood. All SNF's have a 7:1 CNA to resident ratioto show take pride in our patient- centered care as our residents alwayscome first.

We have several on-lineprograms currently being used by our staff:

• Matrix is used as our EMR.
• Shifthound is our on-line scheduling program.At the click of a button, you can request time off or request to pick up ashift. You can also send email/text notification to request coverage of an openshift.
• Relias is our on-line education program.Classes are assigned via email for you to complete in the allotted time at yourown pace.
• Paylocity is our online payroll program. We are Direct Deposit

The successful candidate will:

• possess a current,unencumbered, active license as an RN in CT;
• be IV certified;
• possess the ability to makeindependent decisions when circumstances warrant such action;
• have the ability to dealtactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, governmentagencies/personnel, and the general public.
• In addition, you willleadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professionaland non-professional personnel; have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition andenthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents; and beable to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
