LPN Charge Nurse - 11p - 7a 40 hours/wk

JeromeHome is a 120 bed Long Term Care Facility in New Britain, CT. Established underthe will executed by Augustus Jerome. Jerome Home is a privately-owned,not-for-profit organization. We are a progressive, nursing community with ahighly competent and caring staff. Established in 1932, our multi levelsinclude; 26 units on RCH (Resident Care Home), 2 – 32 bed neighborhoods on SNF,and 1 – 30 bed SNF. Also on our campus is Arbor Rose, a 62 apartmentAssisted Living Facility.

We are currently looking to fill a 40 hour position on our 11-7 shift. 

Asan LPN Charge Nurse, you will work with a professional team of CNA’s toprovide our residents the care and services they need to thrive. All of ournurses are IV certified.

The successful RN/LPN Charge Nurse will:

• possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN/LPN in this state;
• possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action;
• have the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public;
• have leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel;
• have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.

We have several on-line programs currently being used by our staff:

• Matrix is used as our EMR.
• Shifthound is our on-line scheduling program. At the click of a button, you can request time off or request to pick up a shift. You can also send email/text notification to request coverage of an open shift.
• Relias is our on-line education program. Classes are assigned via email for you to complete in the allotted time at your own pace.
• Paylocity is our payroll system. We are all direct deposit.
