**Inventory Control Manager**

Role and Responsibilities
As the **Inventory Control Manager** for Jenni Kayne your primary responsibilities include the following:
* Hire, train and manage a team of inventory control specialists
* Execute all Retail Store Inventory Adjustments in Netsuite, working in partnership with Retail Store leadership
* Manage the accuracy and reporting of inventory and location records within the Warehouse
Consistently reconcile inventory adjustments and transfers within our ERP system
Develop and implement data analysis tools/techniques to effectively determine the root cause of inventory discrepancies
Quantify and report Inventory Shrink in the Warehouse
Provide monthly management reports and analysis for inventory accuracy, aging inventory, damaged inventory and an accounting of adjustments related to the Warehouse
* Establish and maintain the Inventory Cycle Count Program across all inventory holding locations including Jenni Kayne Retail Stores
Investigate inventory discrepancies; initiate root cause analysis and corrective action as needed
* Develop, maintain, and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to inventory adjustments, inventory movement, physical count procedures and other related Inventory Control processes.
* Implement and manage a process of continuous improvement for all Inventory Control processes the organization and the support systems in order to build Inventory accuracy throughout all locations.
* Identify and drive interdepartmental communication and process improvements in areas of the business where Inventory Control activities intersect with other departments. Examples include but are not limited to working with Retail, Marketing, Product Development/Production, and IT to resolve potential day to day inventory balance issues.
* Responsible for planning and execution of the physical inventory process and reconciliation at any Jenni Kayne location that is holding inventory, including retail stores.
* Communicate positively with your team to ensure engagement and productivity
* Ensure all policies and procedures are followed
* Responsible for documenting the performance, conduct, and behavior, as well as the teamwork observed for any employee assigned to your team
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
* Act as a Role model in safe work practices and encourage others to do the same
* Follow good warehousing practices and encourage your team to do the same including:
Safety/Surroundings: Follow required safety practices including being aware of your surroundings and walking only in approved areas. Work safely around moving machines like forklifts, mobile carts, and robots
Organization/Supplies: Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area while ensuring all supplies required to complete your job are restocked and accounted for.
Housekeeping/Trash: Maintain warehouse cleanliness. Everyone is required to clean up after themselves in the employee breakroom and bathrooms.
* Other Duties as Required: We are a team which means you will be asked to help out in other areas out of your normal day to day responsibilities to ensure the operations are running efficiently.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or relevant field.
* Inventory Control experience in warehouse setting is required.
* Experience using a system to calculate inventory record accuracy
* Understanding of financial reporting methods and standards
* 5 years experience in a leadership role required.
* 2 years of experience leading safety initiatives. Manufacturing or industrial environment required.
* Knowledge of regulatory agencies and requirements, State and Federal regulations, Industrial Safety programs, and OSHA Compliance standards, etc.
Preferred Skills
* Experience leading physical inventory counts
* Experience in Netsuite preferred
* Intermediate excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, merging spreadsheets)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge of process improvement processes such as Six Sigma and or LEAN (5S)
* Strong interpersonal skills to demonstrate teamwork, leadership and flexibility while working with all levels of the organization.
* Bilingual in Spanish
Physical Requirements
* Able to perform physical activity including, but not limited to, sitting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting (up to 50lbs), and walking (up to 50% of the day).
* Use carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other gear to move items around
* Ability to maneuver through storage racks, trailers, and other areas of the warehouse.
* Ability to operate equipment found in a distribution center environment including, but not limited to, material handling equipment such as Reach Truck, Stock Picker, Forklift, and Pallet Jack.
* Ability to work in a warehouse environment (i.e. exposed to hot, cold and changing temperatures, medium noise level not requiring protective equipment, and dust, dirt and changes in lighting)
