Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team! As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and executing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and building brand awareness across various platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our digital presence and connect with our target audience.
MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM TO 5PM; SOME SATURDAYS MAY BE REQUIRED IF A SPECIAL EVENT/PARTY IS HAPPENING AND NEEDS COVERAGE.
Responsibilities:
- Implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement
- Create and curate compelling content for social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written posts
- Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and feedback
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and posts
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
-Perform internal employee relations tasks such as sending employee birthday and anniversary cards, assisting w/ gmail and google reviews, party and event planning, and small errand running.
Skills:
- Proficient in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, iMovie, and Canva
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google My Business) and their respective best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create engaging content that resonates with the target audience
- Knowledge of public relations principles and practices
- Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Facebook Ads Manager
- Basic photography and filming skills for capturing high-quality visuals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
