About Us:

Blue Ridge Yoga (“BRY”) is a loving community for people of all ages and races. We promote community through our culture, classes, and free fun events throughout the year. We are big proponents of giving back to the community in monumental ways through fun regular fundraisers. We hope to reach our goal of 200k this year! We have an eclectic schedule that offers options to all physical abilities so that everyone has a chance to practice yoga with us.

Job Summary:

The Social Media and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media and marketing strategies to enhance the studio’s brand presence, attract new members, and engage the existing community. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

You will also be working the front desk on weekends to gain better relationships with the students.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 5:30pm-7:30pm

Weekends 8am-12pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Management:
• Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across platforms including Instagram & Facebook.
• Create and curate engaging content (images, videos, and written) that aligns with our brand voice and mission.
• Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers to build a strong online community.
• Analyze and report on social media performance metrics to guide future strategies.
• Content Creation:
• Design visually appealing graphics and videos for social media, website, and promotional materials using tools like on Canva.
• Write compelling copy for social media posts and promotional materials.
• Website Management:
• Update and maintain the studio’s website to ensure content is fresh, accurate, and engaging.
• Optimize website for SEO to increase organic search traffic.
• Event Promotion:
• Create and execute marketing plans for studio events, workshops, and special classes.
• Analytics and Reporting:
• Track and analyze marketing metrics across all channels to measure the success of campaigns.
• Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in social media management and marketing, preferably in the health and wellness industry.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
• Creative thinker with a passion for wellness and community building.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
